Movavi

Movavi has been building multimedia products in the IT market since 2004. From a startup, it has grown into an international company.

Areas of activity

One of the areas of work of Movavi is the social project "Movavi Education." Educational institutions of Russia can apply for participation and receive an educational version of Movavi Video and Photo Editor for free. As of December 2019, more than 1800 organizations are already participating in the project. Every year, employees of the company hold contests, field events for teachers, increasing multimedia literacy among teachers and students.

Another area of ​ ​ the company's work is the Movavi School. The school's students study programming, design, robotics and other digital sciences. Children and adolescents are completely immersed in the atmosphere of technology: they visit IT companies, cyber camps, various master classes, study with experts in the digital industry, and the most talented of them undergo internships.

History

2019: Offices

As of December 2019, Movavi employed more than 400 people, the company's head office was in Novosibirsk. The auxiliary office was located in evergreen Akademgorodok, two more in the United States and Cyprus.

2016

In 2016, Movavi released the first mobile applications.

2015

In 2015, Movavi programs received support for Windows 10.

2014

For 2014, the company offers 21 programs in 18 languages.

2013

Support for more than 170 popular media formats in Movavi products

The company's flagship products - Movavi Video Suite and Movavi Video Converter - support more than 170 popular media formats and 180 portable devices (February 2013).

Movavi Video Suite is available in 7 languages: Russian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese.

Movavi Video Converter is available in 9 languages: Russian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese and Dutch.

Movavi products are used by more than 8 million people in 95 countries.

Development and promotion of 16 software products

Movavi, founded in 2004, develops software for editing video at home and solving compatibility problems with video and audio formats on Windows and Mac computers. As of March 2013, the company employed 35 people who were involved in the development and promotion of 16 software products for video, audio and photo processing.

The company cooperates with Intel and NVIDIA. As of March 2013, Movavi products were sold in Russia, the USA, Europe, Japan, Brazil and other countries, and were also available on the largest online platforms: Amazon.com, Mac App Store, Ozon.ru, etc.

2010

July 2010 - Launch of Aviberry's "cloud" b2b video and audio conversion service

March 2010 - the start of sales of boxed versions of the Movavi Video Suite in stores in the UK and Germany (in conjunction with BHV, Holland).

2009

October 2009 - Signing with leading European publisher Globell (Holland)

2006

May 2006 - registration of the legal entity TauConsult LLC in Novosibirsk, which became the copyright holder of the Movavi brand.^[1]

April 2006 - Signs with leading international publisher Avanquest (France).

2005

2005 - release of Movavi Video Suite - a multifunctional package of programs for working with video and DVD.

March 2005 - Release of ConvertMovie (currently Movavi Video Converter), a video conversion product. Company bestseller.

January 2005 - the launch of the www.movavi.com site and the release of the first video processing and restoration product - EnhancementMovie (now sold under the name Movavi Video Editor), the beginning of online sales.

2004: Movavi Founded
